Live Interpreters think about the character of the person they're dressed as, and the situation that character is in.
Then they combine historical facts with improvisational acting skills to help their audience make vivid connections between past and present.
After all, clothes, language and technology change through time- but human nature doesn't!
My most popular characters for Live Interpretation events are 'Queen Elizabeth 1st' and 'Moaning Martha' the grumbling Victorian Workhouse Inmate.
Many more characters are available by arrangement.
