I begin the talk dressed in Tudor underwear.
As the talk progresses I get dressed, ending up wearing a demonstration Tudor costume based on Hilliard's Pelican Portrait of Elizabeth (1574).
As I dress, I talk about each item of clothing or jewellery, bringing in relevant information about its historical and social context.
Although the tone is light hearted, I research rigorously and all information given is correct to the best of my knowledge.
During the proceedings, I will need a helping hand from an audience member, to lace up my bodice.
The talk lasts around 50-60 minutes, depending on how many questions I get.
This talk does not include singing.
